Watercolor and Imagination!
I am a Michigander. My husband and I started a new chapter in life by moving to Nokomis, Florida. Sunshine, warm Gulf of Mexico waters and green swaying palm trees fill my soul and creative energy each and every day. With a background in graphic design and inherited watercolor brushes from my mom in hand, I was inspired to try a few classes to learn what this watercolor medium is all about. WOW! It moves, flows and blends, just like the nature that surrounds me! Sketching out images, inking and getting lost in the watercolor world seem to come naturally. Keeping the subjects fun and light-hearted has introduced a whole new whimsical world to explore. As I continue to learn and grow, I delight in sharing my art with you!

Sharky’s on the Pier
I was selected to be the artist for Sharkeys on the Pier, the sponsor of this beautiful mermaid! Several hours of mosaic and several painted details capture the essence of this sculpture. It was a lot of fun and challenging!

It was a pleasure to have been selected as the artist for this fun Seahorse. Going with the theme of money, I chose to incorporate a Venice Monopoly game. All the mermaids and seahorses will be auctioned off in 2023, proceeds go to the Venice Art Center.
